Dr. Reese is interested in first listening to a patient's desires for their smile and oral health, together creating a dental treatment plan that is appropriate for the individual patient. Dr. Reese's primary concern is establishing a healthy dental foundation that starts with the gum tissue and bone surrounding the teeth. This is important not only to a patient's ongoing dental health but their overall health as well. Research published by the American Heart Association and American Dental Association reveals that gum infections could double the risk of heart attack and stroke. There are also multiple connections between oral bacteria and hardening of the arteries, diabetes, and pre term or low birth weight babies. These links make regular dental cleanings important to everyone. To ensure proper dental cleanings and monitoring of a patients oral health, Dr. Reese has two very qualified and experienced hygienists on staff as well as a periodontist available to treat more complex problems associated with the gum tissue and bone.

Dr. Reese knows that once a stable foundation is achieved that dentistry as a result of modern technology has a variety of options available for patients. Everything from routine white fillings, crowns, whitening, clear braces, veneers, to more complex reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. This is where the dialogue between Dr. Reese and her patients becomes essential in providing the patient with alternatives that fit their lifestyle and goals. Dr. Reese takes pride in providing services from the youngest patient to the oldest patient and is able to do this through the extensive continuing education that she attends throughout the year. An extremely conscientious and competent dentist intrigued by technology, Dr. Reese is intent on continually updating the technology in her office as well as staying abreast of the improved dental materials available so she can provide the very best dentistry has to offer her patients.
