Christina Newkirk – Receptionist
Chris graduated from Northwestern University Dental Hygiene, earned a BS degree from Northeastern University and MS Degree from National College of Education. She practiced dental hygiene for 18 years, taught dental hygiene (classroom and clinical ) at William Rainey Harper College Dental Hygiene Program for 7 years and was Director of Professional Relations for Delta Dental Insurance Company for 18 years. She is a past president of the Illinois Dental Hygienists Association and a recipient of Northwestern University Dental School Meritorious Award. She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and is especially helpful in educating patients on dental procedures and health.

Jillian Jacobsen, CDA – Certified Dental Assistant
Jillian has been a dental assistant for 25 years, having worked in Michigan, California and Chicago. She enjoys working chair-side with Dr. Reese and doing the Zoom Whitening procedure for teeth whitening. She is excited to be working in today’s modern dental environment and taking continuing education courses with Dr. Reese. She looks forward to coming to work everyday at Winning Smile Dental Group, L.L.C.. While in California she became a certified massage therapist and when time allows, she does a little massage treatment on our patients. When she is not working, she enjoys downhill skiing, biking and walking her dog Peppermint.

Donna Dukat, RDH – Registered Dental Hygienist
As a native Chicagoan, Donna graduated from Loyola University of Chicago as a registered hygienist with a Bachelors of Science degree. Twenty years later she still enjoys the world of dentistry and all its new technology. This year is her 10th year of working in this Evanston practice and there continues to be laughter flowing from her room. She loves to cook, travel, spend time with friends and work in her yard when weather allows. Forever optimistic Donna is looking forward to the upcoming seasons for the Cubs and Bears. This year could be the one?!

Alona Alferez, RDH – Registered Dental Hygienist
Alona Alferez, R.D.H. was raised in the Phillipines however in 1996 the whole family migrated to the United States. Since coming to the U.S., Alona, who is a very motivated individual, has earned two associate degrees from the College of Lake County, a Medical Technician Degree and a Dental Hygiene Degree. Alona is happily married with two kids, 8 and 10 years of age. Alona enjoys working with kids and relates well to them as well as all of her patients. She is complimented routinely on her gentle way with patients. In her free time, Alona enjoys working out, rollerblading, reading novels, cooking and baking with her kids, as well as watching the food network with her daughter. She lives in the north suburbs.
