Don’t Delay When You Have a Dental Emergency
We have found that many people put off going to the dentist for one reason or another. Maybe you have had a negative experience or maybe regular check-ups have not been in your budget. Whatever the reason, we will not make you feel bad about it.
Our top priority is to get you out of pain. You would be surprised that many times it only takes a short, couple minute visit with Dr. Polly Reese to relieve your pain. So no matter how long your toothache or problem has been left untreated, don’t let anxiety or guilt keep you away any longer.
Caring for a Toothache
Typically a toothache is an early indication of a larger dental problem. Sometimes the pulp of the tooth becomes infected and then an abscess can form. When this happens, the pain sometimes goes away. But the infection is still there and needs to be addressed. If this is the case, a root canal treatment is the solution.
Far too many people associate root canal treatments with pain, but with modern techniques the treatment is pain-free. When you come in for your emergency dentist appointment, we will do a quick procedure to take care of any pain you are experiencing. Then, we will schedule an appointment with an endodontist for the root canal. Depending on the time of day, we may be able to get you into the endodontist the same day.
We can help with other dental emergencies like:
- A broken or cracked tooth;
- A chipped front tooth or other cosmetic dentistry concern;
- A dental crown, dental implant, or dental bridge that has come out; or
- A knocked out tooth
When that unexpected dental emergency disrupts your life, we will get you in for an emergency dentist appointment today!
