Tooth Colored Fillings
Today, cavities are filled with modern tooth colored fillings made of durable resin or porcelain can be bonded to your teeth for a stronger, more natural looking effect. Metal fillings are often replaced with tooth colored fillings to prevent breakdown of the natural tooth by the harder silver of amalgam filling.
Inlays and Onlays
Porcelain inlays and onlays are an excellent conservative solution to restoring back teeth which have a significant loss of nature tooth structure. Virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth, porcelain inlays and onlays discreetly restore teeth to an optimal state of health. They resemble natural teeth so closely that only you will know their presence.
Crowns
Crowns or caps are natural looking covers that fit snugly over teeth to conceal and restore cracked, badly discolored, injured, decayed, chipped or worn teeth. Crowns can be fabricated using 100% porcelain or a combination of a top layer of porcelain fused to a bottom layer of metal.
Bridges
Bridges, like crowns, can be made, depending upon your habits and occlusion or bite, exclusively of porcelain or a combination of porcelain and metal. They are used to bridge gaps between teeth and replace the missing teeth with strong, natural looking artificial teeth.
Implants and Implant Supported Crowns
Dental implants with crowns are the most natural replacement for missing teeth. Implants are placed in the jaw or maxilla and may be used to replace a single tooth, or multiple missing teeth.
Bonding
A smile can be dulled by stained, chipped, cracked or misaligned teeth, but bonding can quickly and painlessly restore your smile's natural beauty. During the procedure, a thin coating of plastic resin is painted over the damaged tooth and shaped, strengthening them and making them virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
Veneers
An excellent alternative to crowns, veneers can mask stains, hide chips, correct misalignment, and create uniformity. Veneers are a facade, which are made of thin, customized material designed to be applied over the front surface of teeth, look very natural, are long lasting, and are relatively easy to apply. Veneers are primarily applied to the patient's front teeth.
Tooth Whitening
It is a natural that with age our teeth darken. Sometimes the darkening of our teeth is accelerated by abnormal grinding or clenching habits that patients periodically develop throughout their lives. And sometimes we are just born with darker looking teeth. To help restore your youthful bright smile or lighten the natural shade of your teeth we offer in-office ZOOM bleaching system as well as take home whitening trays and gels.
Crown Lengthening
This is a periodontal procedure that creates more visible length to a tooth. This is done in some circumstances for short appearing teeth or when there is not adequate tooth structure to place a crown.
Tissue Graft
This is a periodontal procedure that takes a piece of tissue from another area of the mouth to stop recession which is the movement of the gum tissue away from the crown of the tooth. It is also used to cover the root of a tooth affected by recession.
